Last night, Feminist Majority Foundation, New Orleans Abortion Fund, and Tulane University Students United for Reproductive Justice came together to unite the community for a candlelight vigil.
The people of New Orleans are pro-choice and stand by reproductive justice, and they stand by their doctor.
“It’s not often that you have all these institutions focused on one issue, trying to find a solution. But with student activists holding their colleges, and the government, accountable, we are sure to see change soon.”
Access to voting is being taken away from women, students, and minorities – and I’m fired up about it. I can’t wait to share my knowledge at this conference and get other young folks fired up, too!
The time for action was 89 days ago. Enough is enough. It is time to Bring Back Our Girls.
Overall, the visit to ELAC was eventful and successful, bringing unity to those involved with FMF and FMLA, and ultimately, bringing awareness to a number of capable and engaged individuals.
