UPDATE (3/19/12 @ 1:03 PM): New action!! Head over to Say It, Sister! (National NOW’s blog) for more info about taking action to tell the Missouri state government a Rush Limbaugh statue is NOT OK!!
Also, at last count there were over 150 advertisers who dropped Rush!!

UPDATE (3/12/12 @ 12:51 PM): According to Media Matters, as of March 10 ninety-eight (yes! 98!) advertisers have withdrawn their support from the Rush Limbaugh Show. We will discontinue regular updates of the list of advertisers, but encourage you to continue to thank any advertisers who have stood with women and Sandra Fluke amidst Limbaugh’s hateful actions.

UPDATE (3/7/12 @ 3:45 PM): Over Forty-five sponsors have now ceased advertising on Limbaugh’s show.  Please take a moment to thank them for supporting women. With just one click you can send your appreciation to all of the sponsors.  Keep putting the pressure on those who are still advertising with Rush — their twitter handles are listed below.

UPDATE (3/7/12 @ 12:00 PM): Over thirty sponsors have now stopped their ads from running on Rush’s show. Your hard work is paying off! Thank ALL of these sponsors in one easy click here — and continue putting the pressure on sponsors who have not decided to flush Rush yet! We have their twitter handles listed below!

UPDATE (3/6/12 @ 2:15 PM): Twenty-six sponsors have now withdrawn their ads from Limbaugh’s show, including advertisers we mentioned previously.  Please thank these sponsors for doing the right thing! Keep the pressure on those who have yet to stand with American women.

UPDATE (3/5/12 @ 4:30 PM): A total of ten sponsors have withdrawn their ads from Limbaugh’s show, and we’ve updated our list of his current sponsors to include sponsors heard on his latest show.

UPDATE  (3/5/12 @ 12:43 PM): A total of nine sponsors have withdrawn their ads from Limbaugh’s show now, including AOL. This list has been updated with new sponsors we’ve uncovered and our latest victories! Please help us thank the sponsors who have withdrawn their ads.

Rush Limbaugh has finally gone too far. It’s time to take action and let him and his advertisers know that we’re not going to take it anymore.

Earlier this week when Rush called birth control advocate and Georgetown Law student Sandra Fluke a “slut” and a “prostitute” it was a clear attempt to roll back public discourse 50 years and shame Sandra for speaking out–and the 99% of women who will use birth control in their lifetime. This is unacceptable.

Thousands of supporters of women’s healthcare have spoken out in the days since to stand with Sandra and all American women. Email, call, tweet–do whatever you can–to urge advertisers to stand with American women and pull their ads and money from The Rush Limbaugh Show. We can win this.

Be sure to tag #FlushRushNow @feministcampus!! Head over to @feministcampus for sample tweets or RTs.

Correction: Century21, EHarmony, Oreck Vacuums and Domino’s Pizza were originally on this list; they have contacted us to say that they are not current sponsors of The Limbaugh Show.

  1. Hi, I work for Domino’s Pizza on the digital and blogger relations team. We appreciate your concern, but wanted to let you know that Domino’s does not or sponsor this show, and we never have. We’re not sure why some lists have been passed around that claim we do, but I can assure you we are not a sponsor of this show. Thanks for your time.

    1. Ed show on MSNBC had your graphic tonite when he did a piece on it. May want corporate to contact MSNBC.

    2. I wish your site offered an email addressed to all of the Limbaugh sponsors who choose to continue with this misogynistic idiot the way that you have a prefab email for us to thank sponsors who dropped the show. Providing readers with an easy way to get our message sent is absolutely one of the most vital things this site can do.

  2. FYI – the link for eharmony takes you to a page where you have to have registered with a password to access. I looked to see if there was any link that would allow me to leave feedback, etc, but there is none. Apparently they do not want to be accessed. You might see if you can locate an email and update this page.

  3. I’m a computer consultant so I picked Carbonite and Go To My PC, because they are products/services that I have recommended to a number of clients over the years.

    Carbonite sent this response:
We do not endorse political views or opinions of the companies, magazines, newspapers, TV stations or radio stations that we advertise on. We simply choose a range of programs designed to reach a broad range of people so they might hear about Carbonite. Dave Friend, Carbonite’s Founder and CEO wrote this on his blog here: http://www.carbonite.com/en/blog/Politics-and-Backup
I wrote back noting the difference between an argument about policy and humiliation with intent to slander, denigrate and shut up the opposition.
Bottom line: I am working with a number of my clients to change their backup system from Carbonite to CrashPlan.

Haven’t heard from Go to My PC.

    1. As a business owner for over thirty years, I believe businesses relationships do matter to customers. Remember relationship marketing? And people do not care to support businesses that offend half or more of their customer base. There is a difference between good taste and bad taste, offensive and unoffensive. Do you believe Carvoniite’s female employees are immune to the boss taking the “its only business” line of defence? We will pull our business from this company because we still have morals and principles left and not because they agree or disagree about contraception.

    2. Before you take any action you may regret, read this open letter: Yesterday a friend of mine posted this on his FB page:
Responding to the recent absurdities by Mr. Limbaugh, I contacted one of his advertisers, a company I’ve been using for a number of years now. 24 hours later I received this response:

      Hello,

I have received so many emails concerning Rush Limbaugh that I can’t possibly respond to each one of you individually, but I appreciate your many heartfelt and eloquent comments.

On Saturday night I issued the following statement:

Statement from David Friend, CEO of Carbonite

“No one with daughters the age of Sandra Fluke — and I have two — could possibly abide the insult and abuse heaped upon this courageous and well-intentioned young lady. Mr. Limbaugh, with his highly personal attacks on Miss Fluke, overstepped any reasonable bounds of decency. Even though Mr. Limbaugh has now issued an apology, we have nonetheless decided to withdraw our advertising from his show. We hope that our action, along with the other advertisers who have also withdrawn their ads, will ultimately contribute to a more civilized public discourse.”

To our customers among you, I thank you for your continued support. We would really appreciate anything you can do to help us get the Carbonite word out there. If you have friends whose computers are not backed up, please tell them about Carbonite. There’s always a free trial at http://www.carbonite.com. Please suggest that they take advantage of my temporary Offer Code “DAVID” to obtain two months free when they sign up for a subscription as my way of saying thanks.

      Warm regards,
      Dave

  4. A year or so ago when the Supreme Court refused to hear women’s discrimination case against Walmart, I stopped buying anything there. I chose to girlcott their store to protest policies that are unfair to women–different payscales and different promotion regulations for women than men. My few hundred dollars a year won’t harm that corporate giant, but if MANY, MANY women chose to girlcott many offensive corporations, that would.

In my view, Rush has always been slime. But he has gone too far in his misogynist treatment of a bright and lovely young woman. The man should be kicked off of the public’s airwaves!

I’ve printed a list of his sponsors, and I’ll be telling everyone-I-know and correspond-with to stop doing business with these sponsors… as well as with Walmart.

No one should spend money to enrich people harm women!

    Jackie De Hon, Ph.D.

    1. Well put, Jackie. This is NOT about “freedom of speech” or even contraception. This is about ONE MAN who has viciously slandered an innocent PRIVATE CITIZEN. The “girlcott” (luv that!) is working. Keep up with pressure with advertisers, Clear Channel, Facebook and Twitter. Rush has finally gone over the edge (and tripled down on his filth). Sandra Fluke was not even discussing HER sex life but college women in general. Contraceptives are for more than birth control. All that aside, this is part of the #GOPWarOnWomen. This time there is (finally) critical mass. Rush has served as a lightening rod. Women and men cannot let up. We’ve got the tiger by the tail – NOW is the time to keep up the pressure everywhere.

    2. Me too! And, from what I’ve read since then, about their “loss leader” policies and marketing ploys in the stores, I made an economical as well as a political decision not to give them any of my money. I Buy Blue when I can.

  5. Calling Sandra Fluke and all contraception-using women (all 99% of us) slut and prostitute was horrendous. Even worse, he stated in the most perverted, degrading manner, that women who want contraception to be covered on their health insurance plan should have to exhibit their sexual encounters so that the public can get the pleasure of viewing them. This notion of coerced prostitution as payment for preventive healthcare is nauseating and constitutes hate speech, in my opinion. It was egregious, even for Rush Limbaugh, who makes a living spreading hate fed by the flames of ignorance. He might have the freedom to say what he wants, but he doesn’t need to be paid millions to do it, while he denigrates the rights and well-being of all women, suggesting that, while it is apparently acceptable for men to have sex and enjoy porn, women who want to prevent pregnancy resulting from sex are sluts. Pull the ads, please. Rush Limbaugh SHOULD be pulled off the air, but I am just cynical enough to believe that he’ll never experience an impact from this. Those who choose to advertise with him, however, will NEVER get my business.

  6. Maybe because the owner of Dominos is is virulently against women’s health care issues. Yeah ….I haven’t bought your pizza in a long time, and don’t plan to. I also urge others not too. So maybe that is why yo are here too….no big secret.
    Best regards,
    karl weikel

        1. Domino’s may not sponsor Rush’s show, but the owner/CEO supports many other far right positions on women’s rights, health care, equal pay for equal work, etc. Just because he may not sponsor Rush does not necessarily translate to support for women’s rights.

      1. I never started with Domino’s because I had learned about their hard-right-wing position before I had a chance to give them any of my money. Lots of local businesses in my area that make better stuff anyway. Buy Blue!

  7. Please post updated content at the top. Almost didn’t RT because I thought content was old. Thanks!!

  8. I need to ask if Rush bough any BCP for his wife? Is that means he pay to have sex with her? she is having sex for pay?

    1. I am pretty sure that Rush Limbaugh has always had to buy the women who could stand to have sex with him whether he married them or not. He is a disgusting pig. Sorry Pigs!

  9. Rush Limbaugh is a hate filled, disgusting man. No one who believes in respect & decency or in the Golden Rule should have anything to do with him.

  10. I urge all sponsors of Rush Limbaugh’s radio show to follow the example of Sleep Number Beds, Legal Zoom and others who have withdrawn their sponsorship of that show. His language was intolerable and his motive, even worse. We are no longer in the 19th century or the 1930s. If he doesn’t want women to use contraception, then he should remind all men that they have a responsibility to use condoms.

Contraception is only one argument against the Blunt-Rubio bill: it would once again have put women at the mercy of men to decide on women’s health care. No contraception would mean that the number of unwanted pregnancies would sky-rocket. Are Limbaugh and the other Republicans willing to raise the debt limit for paying for the young ones’ health care and adoptions? Why are they opposed to annual pap smears, etc that are preventative care for all women

    1. These men are living in the 13th century. We women are living in the 21st century. We want you men out of our private lives, and especially out of our reproductive decisions. We want the anti-women lawmakers out of office. Rush Limbaugh off the PUBLIC airwaves. We want the Church out of the State, and away from our birth control pills.

  11. I am an educator – a retired teacher & school administraor. If he were a student & said those things within a school setting, he would have been suspended and sent to training for bullying and harassment. The lack of civility emerging from the ranks of the Republican Party, the Tea Party, and many conservatives is causing terrible lessons for our children. Hate-mongering is becoming an acceptable form of rhetoric. Children do not become angry, hating people because of what they see on television – they will all tell you that television & video games are fake – They will tell you that what’s scarier is what they see in their homes and what real people say to each other.

    1. Hi Kate,
I too am an educator (retired teacher & administrator). You are correct. Of course if he did this in a school setting, (where civil discourse & dialogue should be taught and supported), he would be singled out for direction and correction. I wonder where and how he was educated. Evidently it was miseducation. He should not be granted the privilege of exercising his horrible views on air in the name of ‘freedom of speech.’ He never allows facts to get in the way of his misogynistic, racist,
ignorant rants. On the other hand, he must be seen as the scapegoat for the folks who seek to advance a divide that stands to ensure the status of some very privileged people. The trick is old and transparent.
He is not a victim, but he certainly a bully.

  12. I received the following response to my letter of protest from eHarmony.
    “Dear eHarmony Friend,
Thanks for sharing this concern with us. It’s recently come to our attention that some inaccurate information is being disseminated about eHarmony advertising on the Rush Limbaugh Show. eHarmony does not buy advertising on his show, nor are we affiliated with him. 14. Here is the full text of the message from the CEO of Carbonite.
A Message from Carbonite CEO, David Friend Regarding Ads on Limbaugh
    March 02, 2012
Over the past two days we have received a tremendous amount of feedback on Rush Limbaugh’s recent comments. I too am offended and very concerned about his comments. Limbaugh’s remarks have us rethinking our future use of talk radio.
We use more than 40 talk show hosts to help get the Carbonite message out to the public. The nature of talk radio is that from time to time listeners are offended by a host and ask that we pull our advertising. This goes for conservatives like Limbaugh and progressives like Stephanie Miller and Ed Shultz. We even get customers who demand that we pull the plug on NPR. As an advertiser, we do not have control over a show’s editorial content or what they say on air. Carbonite does not endorse the opinions of the shows or their hosts.
However, the outcry over Limbaugh is the worst we’ve ever seen. I have scheduled a face-to-face meeting next week with Limbaugh during which I will impress upon him that his comments were offensive to many of our customers and employees alike.
Please know your voice has been heard and that we are taking this matter very seriously.
    Sincerely,
    David Friend

  15. I emailed ProFlowers asking them to pull their ad. This is what I got (below). Shame on ProFlowers for electing to continue sponsoring attacks on women! No more Proflowers ever again!

  16. I thought people knew Limbaugh was not credible and wrote him off as a kook a long time ago. He must still be addicted to pain pills or the ones he took messed up his brain.

  17. Please do not sponsor Mr Limbaugh any further. His hate speech against women has long been documented. I will not use the products of any company that sponsors his show.

  19. Thank you for the links to his advertisers….even the list was helpful. I have written emails as well as searched/located (if possible) their facebook pages and posted there as well. How wonderful to log in this morning and find updates with more advertisers leaving his sorry a** behind.

I have made it my current subject of FB status postings….and I find that the people clicking like are almost exclusively men! So, women, we are not alone in this. There are men who have evolved beyond cave dwellers and recognize us as equals.

I found a mans posting on FB (so very well written): “To the few people arguing that Limbaugh was right in his attack on Sandra Fluke, I say again that the issue here isn’t whether the government should cover contraceptives or pay for abortions or fly Newt Gingrich to the moon. All of these things can be discussed pro and con in a rational manner. The *issue* is Rush Limbaugh’s crudity, vulgarity, and out & out slander of and toward a woman who dares to take an opposing viewpoint. It’s not Limbaugh’s (or your) opinions that so many find distressing as it is his underhanded and reprehensible method of expressing his views”

.As I read one womans post somewhere last night: “There’s a smackdown coming in November…And it will be led, silently, but overwhelmingly, by the women.”

Let’s prove her RIGHT and speak even louder with our votes!!

  20. Rush Limbaugh says all this shock talk to make money.. and he does.. He’s famous for being a gas bag and this whole issue of him attacking that woman saying she is a slut is all for ratings.. Once a drug addict always a drug addict, eh Rush? I would urge any possible aponsors to back away from this moron.. It could very well reflect your business relationships. I applaud the sponsors who have pulled their ads, and hope others will follow suit.. So Rush, if a woman takes contraception to prevent pregnancy, you want to watch her have sex?? You are one sick puppy.. A fat little cry baby .. And quite a bore.

  21. Clear Channel, which broadcasts Rush, is owned in part by Bain Capital. I’ve emailed Clear Channel PR suggesting a boycott of all of their sponsors unless Rush goes.

  22. Brilliant and powerful

    MARCH 2, 2012

Dear Members of the Georgetown Community:

There is a legitimate question of public policy before our nation today. In the effort to address the problem of the nearly fifty million Americans who lack health insurance, our lawmakers enacted legislation that seeks to increase access to health care. In recent weeks, a question regarding the breadth of services that will be covered has focused significant public attention on the issue of contraceptive coverage. Many, including the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops, have offered important perspectives on this issue.

In recent days, a law student of Georgetown, Sandra Fluke, offered her testimony regarding the proposed regulations by the Department of Health and Human Services before a group of members of Congress. She was respectful, sincere, and spoke with conviction. She provided a model of civil discourse. This expression of conscience was in the tradition of the deepest values we share as a people. One need not agree with her substantive position to support her right to respectful free expression. And yet, some of those who disagreed with her position – including Rush Limbaugh and commentators throughout the blogosphere and in various other media channels – responded with behavior that can only be described as misogynistic, vitriolic, and a misrepresentation of the position of our student.

In our vibrant and diverse society, there always are important differences that need to be debated, with strong and legitimate beliefs held on all sides of challenging issues. The greatest contribution of the American project is the recognition that together, we can rely on civil discourse to engage the tensions that characterize these difficult issues, and work towards resolutions that balance deeply held and different perspectives. We have learned through painful experience that we must respect one another and we acknowledge that the best way to confront our differences is through constructive public debate. At times, the exercise of one person’s freedom may conflict with another’s. As Americans, we accept that the only answer to our differences is further engagement.

In an earlier time, St. Augustine captured the sense of what is required in civil discourse: “Let us, on both sides, lay aside all arrogance. Let us not, on either side, claim that we have already discovered the truth. Let us seek it together as something which is known to neither of us. For then only may we seek it, lovingly and tranquilly, if there be no bold presumption that it is already discovered and possessed.”

If we, instead, allow coarseness, anger – even hatred – to stand for civil discourse in America, we violate the sacred trust that has been handed down through the generations beginning with our Founders. The values that hold us together as a people require nothing less than eternal vigilance. This is our moment to stand for the values of civility in our engagement with one another.

    Sincerely,

    John J. DeGioia
    President
    Georgetown University

  23. Who cares what Rush Limbohead says! ?These are the SAME failed ideas of divesting from Apartheid in order to bring it down. These deas of economic sanctions are always a FAILURE. It was the reverberations of the Berlin Wall that brought an end to the racist regime in South Africa. The sanctions only fed a blooming black market and activated South Arica’s internal economy. The end of the Soviet boogeyman is what brought an end to this morally reprehensible regime. Fidel Castro, Saddam Hussein, Iran’s nukes, North Korea’s nukes…sanctions are doomed to failure. People never learn the lessons of history. Do you really want to hurt Rushy?: Ignore him! He feeds on this sort of hype to laugh all the way to the bank.He will wriet a book and make $$$ off of this type of attention. Stop chasing these chimeric wind mills. Why don’t you ask Barack Obama about his darling scum bag Clintonian deals. Barbara Olson was a WOMAN! She was killed just 48 hours BEFORE lher last book was published. Barbara Olson wrote all sorts of bad things about Billary Clinton. Billary did not like it! Nobody wants to go here because it says just how corrupt the Bush and Clinton clans are. Barbara Olson’s husband Ted Olson put Bushy in the White House in 2000 so Billary could run in 2008 and 2012 and 2016…Ted Olson was supposed to celebrate his birthday with Barbara Olson on 9/11/01. She was killed at the Pentagon on 9/11/01. I do not see anybody in the media–LEFT or RIGHT–wanting to ask questions about what I am posting here.

    1. If the example of Glenn Beck teaches us anything, it is that you are mistaken. Leaving aside the fact that your analogies do not correlate in meaningful ways to the situation at hand, Beck was run off the air when his paranoia, fear mongering, and political incorrectness drove sponsors to run for the hills. That was the result of customer feedback much like what is happening with this current movement. Beck went from one of the most influential right-wing pundits to a washed up nobody begging for money to fund his online tv station. Pretty much no one listens to or even mentions Beck anymore. Why? Because people called him out for what he was and convinced his sponsors that he wasn’t worth supporting.

  24. I am a male but I have been in this fight from day 1 because what he said disgusts me. I want to say keep up the fight because he is hurting. I have never seen him apologize like this, and if you go to his site, you will notice he has NO banner ads for anything except his own gear that his sells. This means most of his sponsors have pulled out…

I think he really stepped in it this time.

  25. The apolgy he offered was at best tongue in cheek and offered another chance to expose this young women to more derogatory comments than she already wanted or needed. It was even more humiliating and embarrassing,
Obviously Clear Channel does not care what the American woman wants or cares about..The little blue pill has been paid for for years to keep it up but insurers will not pay for women to keep anything to keep something from growing when unwanted for whatever reason.Talk about double standards!

  26. I just received this email after a back-and-forth exchange with a proflowers pr rep over the past day or so:

“At ProFlowers, our mission is to delight our customers with fresh and long lasting flowers, and that is our singular focus each and every day. We do not base our advertising decisions to align with any particular political view or opinion as our employees and customers are as diverse as the USA. Mr. Limbaugh?s recent comments went beyond political discourse to a personal attack and do not reflect our values as a company. As such, ProFlowers has suspended advertising on The Rush Limbaugh radio program.”

  27. remember the ORIGINAL hearing: “Lines Crossed: Separation of Church and State. Has the Obama Administration Trampled on Freedom of Religion and Freedom of Conscience?” — wanna get back to that or stay intentionally distracted?

  28. Can’t find emails for this company that advertises w/ Rush Limbaugh. Here are key names to call or write to and request boycotting Mr. Limbaugh.

  29. Just received this email response from Sears, claiming they did not buy media/sponsorships on Rush show.

    Dear Customer,

Thank you for contacting Sears.com. Sears and Kmart did not buy media or sponsorships on the Rush Limbaugh show. It is possible that a station incorrectly ran one of our ads on or adjacent to the show, but we would need to know the market and day to determine this. Sears Holdings does not purchase media based on political affiliations or views.

  30. There is a HUGE disconnect by the Pentagon re: the sexual abuse of women in the armed forces and their refusal to remove the Rush Limbaugh Show from the Armed Forces Network due to his misogynistic comments about Sandra Fluke. Read more at the following web link excerpts. Contact the Pentagon, Sec of Defense Leon Panetta, and your congressional representatives to raise this contradiction in actions. By the way, March is also Women’s History month….

“In a statement circulated by the Democratic-leaning veterans political group VoteVets.org, four female veterans argue he has no place on military airwaves.’ “Rush Limbaugh has a freedom of speech and can say what he wants, but in light of his horribly misogynistic comments, American Forces Radio should no longer give him a platform,” said the statement, attributed to Iraq veterans Miranda Norman, Kayla Williams, Robin Eckstein and Katherine Scheirman. “Our entire military depends on troops respecting each other – women and men.”

Victims of military rape deserve justice
By Jackie Speier, Special to CNN
updated 10:37 AM EST, Wed February 8, 2012
(CNN) — Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta has announced new initiatives to curtail what he calls “the epidemic” of rape and sexual assaults in our armed forces. In 2010, an estimated 19,000 service members were raped or sexually assaulted by other service members. Clearly, more resources devoted to counseling for victims and training for prosecutors and judges will help.
But the incidence of unpunished rapes will continue and so will the damaging effects these illegal acts have on troop morale and preparedness. This epidemic requires an overhaul of the military justice system.
The military’s chain of command structure keeps most cases of rape and sexual assault from reaching the prosecution level. According to a Defense Department study, only 8% of sexual assailants are referred to military court, compared with 40% of similar offenders prosecuted in the civilian court system. The case of Army Spc. Andrea Neutzling of Ohio is a sad testimony to a justice system gone wrong.

Pentagon says American Forces Network will still air Rush Limbaugh radio program after insult against law student

    The Associated Press
WASHINGTON — A Pentagon spokesman says the military’s network will continue to air Rush Limbaugh’s radio program.
George Little says the American Forces Network offers a wide range of programming to reflect listeners’ interests and he is unaware of any plans to review that decision.
Limbaugh has come under fire for an outburst on his radio program last week when he called a 30-year-old law student a “slut” after she testified before Congress about birth control policies. He has since apologized.
The network on its website says that Limbaugh’s show is popular. It says it doesn’t try to protect listeners from hearing views with which they may disagree.
Limbaugh’s show airs five mornings a week

Above response is to the petition to remove Limbaugh’s show from Armed Forces Network https://WWWS.WHITEHOUSE.GOV/PETITIONS/#!/PETITION/SEC-PANETTA-GET-RUSH-LIMBAUGH-ARMED-FORCES-RADIO-NOW-NO-TAX-MONEY-ABUSIVE-DIVISIVE-INSULTING/P439GWMM

  31. I could not agree with you more. I think all women should be on birth control and the government should pay for it. I don’t understand why there’s a war on women. We shouldn’t be fighting, we should be loving each other and using contraception except for the gays, lesbian and transgendered who don’t need birth control.
Men are always shoving their ideas on women, like when men insist that women shave their legs. As a man, I like a natural looking woman, with all the body hair that nature intended. In fact, one of my friends finds ‘bushy’ women to be a turn on! I say “Viva la difference.”
Of course this is really all about men controlling women’s bodies. Abortion on demand is the law of the land so women can have as many abortions as they want. Its not like men have anything to do with conception, so why should they have anything to say about about legally sucking out a small clump of cells from a uterus?
I do not know if that sandra girl shaves her legs, but she is attractive and I am glad that she is on birth control and has access to abortion. If she got pregnant it would be very inconvenient to her career and she might have residual weight gain even if she carried the cells to term and gave it up for adoption. Men are the first to call women fat, but they don’t understand what it is like to have a baby.
As a man I wish I could have a baby so I could understand what it would be like. Of course, I would probably choose to abort one if I wasn’t ready or it wasn’t the right gender. I’d feel pretty rotten about a woman whose child I was carrying to tell me that I couldn’t abort the clump of cells that was growing in my nether regions.
Even if I could get pregnant, I definitely would not shave my legs.

  32. Please provide us with an organized campaign to contact every sponsor of Rush Limbaugh’s program sponsors and announce a national GirlCott of any company which chooses to sponsor his rants and anti-women remarks. Hmm – I think I saw Penney’s as one of his advertisers. What if every woman who was offended never entered Penney’s doors again??? Talk about putting a company out of business. We need to let the advertisers feel the pain of the loss of the women’s economic power.

  33. Rush Limbaugh the joker leader of thr republicn party, The guy with a high school diploma and and empty brain and a foul mouth who cannot spell or pronounce the word Decency is the Piep Pier of the Republican Party, these ditti heads should run in the oppposite direction, but then the mere acknowledgemnt of feeling proud to be called a DITTO HEAD shows how much they are lacking in any kind od basic principles of llife. I thunk all the people that follow rush must look exactly like him FAT FRUsTRATED AND FOOLISH

The women of the world LETS RISE UP AND PUT HIM OUT OF HIS MISERY ITS TIME TO GO RUSH AND TAKE SEAN HANNITY WITH YOU< BECAUSE WITHOOUT YOU HE WILL BE NOTHING

  35. You are wrong about JCPenney. They never advertised on Rush, so how can they pull their ads? One radio station was running adjacent ads which was against their media rules. How about getting your facts straight? And oh, by the way, my daughter is a supervisor for them. So don’t try and tell me otherwise.

  36. There were some comments about why we should care about what Mr. Limbaugh says, and I’d like to give a brief explanation to that.

If you even visited this site it is very likely that you belong to the better educated part of society. You understand how outrageous and improper his comments were.

Unfortunately that is not the case among the poverty stricken, minimally educated members of our society. When they hear a radio show or watch a television program they take it granted that it must be true as it comes from the media.

We have to push the Limbaughs and other overly confident media clowns to back up, and do so in a painful fashion such as loosing sponsors and having to apologize on their own show time after time. That will help!
