CTC has an opportunity for a qualified All-Source Analyst (Technology Targeting) in Charlottesville, VA.
ALL-SOURCE ANALYST (TECHNOLOGY TARGETING)
Primary Responsibilities: Produces intelligence assessments relating to specific regions of interest. Supports analyst/targeting efforts related to critical technologies/activities related to assessment of U.S. critical technologies and foreign targeting efforts. Technologies can include but are not limited to Information Systems, Sensors, Aeronautics, Electronics, Lasers and Optics, Ground and Marine Systems, Positioning and Navigation Systems and Space Systems. The individual will support all aspects of targeting methodologies, conduct open source research, provide indications and warning, and serve as a member of team in the development of key data and the coordination for HUMINT collection against selected countries.
Basic Qualifications: At a minimum, the successful candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree plus 4-6 years of experience, or Master's degree plus 2-4 years experience, or PhD plus 0-2 years experience. Candidate should possess an appreciable awareness of foreign entity targeting of new and emerging technologies in the U.S. industrial base and have counterintelligence experience as it relates to technology targeting.
Knowledge of HUMINT targeting relating to science and technology collection/targeting. Understanding of current U.S. critical technologies as well as emerging and advanced technologies of interest relating to target countries. Ability to determine critical U.S. technologies that could be targeted by target countries. Ability to identify and specify people and organizations that are targeting critical technologies. Ability to support all phases of targeting methodologies, conduct open-source research, provide indications and warning, and serve as a member of a team in the development of key lead data and coordination for HUMINT collection against target countries.
Capabilities: All-Source Analyst with experience specific to analyzing all-source information and researching and manipulating electronic intelligence databases is required. Ability to develop written analysis applying knowledge of technology and knowledge acquired through research, collaboration and other methods. Candidate should have experience with HUMINT collection relating to technology targeting.
The candidate will have the opportunity to build a partnership with the client to develop superior mission accomplishments. The individual will be expected to work collaboratively with the client and other contractors, take ownership of the processes and work to resolve problems.
Clearance: U.S. citizenship required. U.S. Government TS/SCI level clearance is required for this position.
