The Progressive Change Campaign Committee seeks an Administrative Assistant to work directly with the Co-Founders of the organization. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity to work in an exciting, fast-paced progressive organization.
Scheduling: The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for scheduling calls and meetings with top-tier congressional candidates, congressional offices, individual donors, and more.
Preparing Materials: The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for compiling information in advance of calls and meetings, including profiles of candidates and donors, resumes of
job applicants, and more.
Travel and Event Arrangements: The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for making travel arrangements for the Co-Founders and staff, including flight, car and hotels, and may be asked to travel with the Co-Founders on occasion. The Administrative Assistant will occasionally be responsible for event planning, including dinner and room reservations, contracting with caterers, and more.
Maintaining Relationships: The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for tracking meetings and events, and sending thank you notes and gifts, as appropriate.
Other Administrative Duties: The Administrative Assistant will be responsible for other duties as assigned.
Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience Previous administrative experience, including scheduling.
Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven entrepreneurial abilities, creativity and initiative Ability to work efficiently and autonomously Strong commitment to social justice and the progressive movement Proficient use of map and calendar technology Internet proficiency Detail oriented & reliable
