Classical Music by Women
This site is my own and tells about my professional life as a musician and the Celebration of Women in Music. I feature Classical piano solos composed by women in lecture/recitals that I give and on my 2 CDs: "Celebration!" and "Gardens of the Heart." Both are donation CDs, entirely underwritten so that funds go directly to women's health and environmental causes. Women are delighted and surprised by the marvelous, lyrical qualities of the creative expressions of women from the 19th and 20th centuries. The CDs contain Etudes, Preludes, Dances, Nocturnes and Suites from the Classical tradition. "Gardens of the Heart" also has 7 tracks of Ragtime Music from the American Golden Age of Rag, all composed by women as well. Both CDs are playing on National Public Radio and are in independent book stores in many states.

Women Rock!
Women Rock! is an annual women's music festival designed to celebrate the creativity, strength, beauty and power women bring to their families, their communities and the world. This year's featured performers include: Dar Williams, Holly Near, Alix Olson and Chris Pureka as well as local and regional artists. Taking place at Spanish Moss Farms in Tallahassee, FL on March 18th, 2006, Women Rock! is an event you do not want to miss. Benefiting the Refuge House, a domestic violence and rape crisis center in North Florida, all proceeds will go to build life-saving programs and services for victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence.
