This November, students, graduates, and community activists from around the Midwest will to come together for an opportunity to participate in an ongoing discussion about what it means to be a feminist activist in the Midwest - how best to organize on rural and urban Midwestern campuses, what issues are relevant and central to feminist activism in the Midwest, and how to work around challenges specific to organizing in our region. We'll discuss our knowledge and experiences in feminist activism, share our skills, meet and network with other activists, and share a common space that promotes communication and equality in order to better our own groups back home.
