Congressional Visit Day: Monday, June 8
Capital Hilton, Washington D.C.
Activists from across the country will join in the nation’s capital the first weekend in June for an inter-generational demonstration of the immense power behind the feminist movement. This year’s conference—titled “Fired Up—Ready to Vote!”—is a joint effort with the National Organization for Women because 2020 is THE year for feminist activism. We’ll be celebrating the historic relevance of the year 2020: a presidential election year, the year of ERA ratification, and the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment!
Friday and Saturday programming will feature national speakers and a host of panels and workshops on topics like the rapidly-growing movement for the Equal Rights Amendment, the fight for women’s rights and representation in Afghanistan, and the continued need to protect clinics and providers from anti-abortion violence. On Sunday, we’ll cap off the weekend with a full day of hands-on trainings to mobilize and empower the student vote on your campus in fall 2020.
So what are you waiting for?
