Young Feminist Leadership Conference March 28-30, 2026 banner

We know that the National Young Feminist Leadership Conference is the best place to grow as an activist, learn from experts, and build community with likeminded, intersectional feminists. But don’t just take it from us! Here’s what past attendees have to say about their experiences:

The NYFLC was an amazing experience for me because I got to learn from activists and politicians from all over the country who were dedicated to advancing women’s rights and supporting young feminists. I took away that exhaustion is not defeat, and while we have a tremendous amount of work ahead, we have to support each other until the work is done.

Samriddhi Patankar, George Washington University

The NYFLC was such an unforgettable experience that left me feeling confident that we can cultivate change and that the past generations of feminist leaders believe in us. I got to hear from such amazing feminists that have paved the way for women like me to be able to navigate the world differently. I am so thankful for the Feminist Majority Foundation for giving young women a platform and a voice by encouraging a safe space where we can come together and hear from politicians and leaders that have played a vital role in advancing women’ s rights.

Emari Pam, Howard University

Attending NYFLC helped me find a strong community with those dedicated to gender and reproductive justice, not only as advocates for change, but also as fellow young professionals.

Jaharra Anglin Stubbs, Colgate University

NYFLC gave me the kind of experiential learning I needed, but couldn’t get in a classroom. I learned how to carry myself professionally at large-scale conferences, how to navigate conversations with confidence, and how to advocate for my perspective even if I’m the only woman in the room.

Sophia Volvovsky, George Washington University

Spending a weekend with likeminded women reinforced my ambition to advance women’s issues socially, politically, and structurally.

Ella Kushins, George Washington University

The Feminist Majority Foundation’s conference allowed me to learn about the most pressing modern issues from feminist professionals, taking into account the extraordinary challenges we are facing today, as well as the innovative solutions being deployed to address them. The speakers and fellow attendees have been incredible sources of support in my network as I prepare to pursue a career in nonprofit advocacy!
