Get Into It: Rally for the Equal Rights Amendment This Weekend!

September 8, 2014 by Taylor Kuether Leave a Comment

This Saturday, join us on the West Lawn of the US Capitol Building for the We Are Woman alongside women of all ages in support of the Equal Rights Amendment!

Via We Are Woman.

Via We Are Woman.

From 9:30 AM to 5 PM on September 13, join us outside the Capitol to rally together and listen to speakers who have been involved in the fight for decades – including Feminist Majority Foundation’s own president, Eleanor Smeal, who will give the keynote address at 11:30 AM!

If you’d like to come to the rally, you can meet up with National Campus Organizer Alyssa Seidorf at 9:20 AM outside the Capitol South metro statio. And if you miss the group, just keep your eye out for our bright pink signs in the crowd! If you’re not in the DC area, you can still follow the rally via the #Rally4Equality2014 hashtag and be a part of the push for full constitutional equality for women!
