#BlackHERstory: Stefanie Brown James and Brown Girls Lead

In support of  #BlackHERstory Month, we’ll be posting about one current black feminist leader or organization each weekday in February. Tune in daily to learn more about black women’s history, feminism, and the reproductive justice movement! 


Stefanie Brown James is the Founder and Executive Director of Brown Girls Lead, an organization dedicated to teaching leadership development skills to collegiate and professional women of color.

Brown Girls Lead Academy is a seven-month program focusing on Personal Empowerment, Professional Enrichment, and Public Engagement as tools to help women achieve positive changes in their personal, professional and public lives.
