University of Virginia Alumni and Allies for Survivors, a group dedicated to pushing for sexual assault reform at the University of Virginia (UVA), has created a petition calling on President Sullivan to implement an ongoing, mandatory sexual assault education program on campus that engages students at regular intervals throughout their academic careers.

The group’s goal is to ensure all students have access to in-depth information about UVA’s sexual misconduct policies and the University’s legal obligations under Title IX, equipping students with institutional knowledge that will help them continue to hold the University accountable and allow them to support their community members in the best way possible. Take a few minutes to sign and share the petition here.
